Are you tired of your PLR templates blending in with the rest? Because in that case it's time to give them your magical touch that will make them truly stand out. And I'll exactly tell you how.
In this article, I'll show you how to use Canva to customise your templates in simple yet innovative ways that will impress your audience. Get ready to make your brand unforgettable with these 3 creative ways to personalise PLR templates using Canva. Here we go!
Customise Colours and Fonts
The main and fastest way to personalise your PLR templates is by customising the colours and fonts. By selecting a colour scheme that aligns with your brand and choosing fonts that enhance readability and style, you can make your templates more visually appealing and memorable.
But how do you exactly do that? Well, first, you'll need to choose two main fonts. One for the title and one for the text. And optionally, you'll also have an accent font that will give a touch to the whole. The main text font should be readable, so you'll want to go for a Sans Serif font. For the title, we like using a Serif font and our Accenture font is a Script or Calligraphy font.
Now, what will be yours?
Once you have your fonts ready, you just need to replace the PLR product ones with yours. To do that, select the piece of text you want to change in Canva, choose your new font and then click on 'Change All'. The designs are optimised so that you adapt the whole document in just a few clicks!
The same goes for colours. Now choose 2-3 main colours for your brand if you don't have any. You can have some more secondary colours ready. If you have Canva Pro, you can create a Brand Folder and include of your brand assets to access them easily.
Now choose the element or page you want to change the colour to. And again, after selecting your colour, click on 'Change All'
Ready!
Add Unique Graphics and Images
To further customise of your PLR digital products, consider adding unique graphics and images. By incorporating visuals that resonate with your content and messaging, you can create a more engaging and impactful design. Whether it's through illustrations, icons, or photos, these visual elements can help bring your templates to life and make them stand out.
To choose them, be strategic. Are you choosing an ongoing theme?
Look at our designs: We offer products for small business owners who want to start their online ventures. Our values are related to freedom, travelling, working from anywhere, empowerment, etc. Thus, our chosen pictures will always have those motives in mind.
So, to give you an example, if you have a spiritual brand and you are targeting women with a high nature affinity, you'll want to choose mystical images, a boho aesthetic, pictures of women meditating outside, etc. and you won't combine those pictures with office pictures, fashion photos, etc.
And finally, it's important to mention that you'll be able to find open source pictures that you can use in sites like Unsplash and Pexels.
You can upload them to your Canva account and use them in your designs.
But here's another trick! You can search for images in Canva with keywords and to make them all look cohesive, you can filter them by colours!
To do that, go to Elements -> Photos -> Insert your keyword -> Settings (on the right upper side).
You'll be able to filter the picture search by colour, by orientation or even by wether it's for Free or Pro accounts! Thank me later ;)
Now you have everything you need to start!
Incorporate Brand Elements
Finally, we'll explore how incorporating brand elements can give the final touch to your personalised designs.
Colours and fonts apart, by seamlessly integrating your logo and other visual cues that represent your brand, such as special elements or styles, you can establish a cohesive and recognisable look across all your materials. This not only reinforces your brand identity but also helps to build credibility and trust with your audience.
Plus, it helps you automate the digital product's creating process. People don't need your products to look very different, they need your products to convey a sense of familiarity among them.
Imagine it like this: Would you rather buy a dress from a shop specialised in dresses where they all have a similar air or style? Or would you buy a dress from a shop that not only offers dresses but also T-shirts, shoes, belts, bags, underwear, swimwear, etc.? Who is more specialised in dresses? And if you liked the style of one dress, where will you be able to find more dresses that you like?
Well, in the online world is the same.
If you look at our PLR digital products, you'll see, for example that the element of the sun (from our BALI Academy Logo) is constantly showing up here and there in the template files. Also, we like using fine lines for the aesthetic minimalist style and we use a lot of contrast and strong colours that reflect the brand to make it eye-catching while presenting them on our shop.
Now that you have all of the tips and tricks, let your unique brand and style shine through and you'll succeed for sure!
Conclusion
Remember, in a world full of templates, originality is key. And your brand deserves to be memorable and distinctive.
